I’m On a Mission

A Vision by Collins Obeng-Agyare, Founder of First Page Foundation

I’m on a mission — not just a dream, but a calling rooted deeply in my life’s journey. My name is Collins Obeng-Agyare, and I am the founder of First Page Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives through education.

Growing up, I didn’t have the luxury of a steady school environment. My father was a dedicated teacher who was frequently transferred from one rural community to another across Ghana. As a result, I followed him from village to village, changing schools and classrooms, often learning under trees or in overcrowded, under-resourced spaces. I never had the chance to study in a city or in a modern classroom. I faced the pain of academic instability, social exclusion, and countless disadvantages — but I pressed on.

Those experiences shaped me, strengthened me, and instilled in me one burning desire: to make things better for the next generation.

That is why I’m on a mission to build a modern elementary-to-middle school that can serve between 500 to 1,000 children from underprivileged communities. But this won’t be just another school. It will be a sanctuary of hope, a place where children are not limited by where they come from, but empowered to become who they are meant to be.

Vision: A Future Built on Education

This school will offer comprehensive scholarships covering:

  • Full tuition and school fees

  • Nutritious daily meals

  • School uniforms and footwear

  • All textbooks and learning materials

  • Mentorship and personal development programs

  • Clean, safe, and fully-equipped learning environments

The goal is to remove every barrier that prevents a child from accessing quality education. Because I know what it means to lack, and I know how far one opportunity can carry a determined soul.

Why This Matters

There are countless children today in Ghana — and across Africa — walking the same hard road I walked. Children with intelligence, passion, and potential, but trapped by poverty, distance, and neglect. These are the ones this mission is for.

We are not just building a school. We are building:

  • A community of learners

  • A generation of leaders

  • A pipeline of possibilities for the children society often overlooks

What We Need to Make It Happen

To bring this vision to life, we are seeking:

  • Strategic partners and donors

  • Volunteer teachers and mentors

  • Ongoing financial support for scholarships and feeding programs

Your support can change the trajectory of a child’s life. You can help rewrite their story and give them a first page full of hope, dignity, and dreams.

Be Part of the Mission

This is personal to me. I’ve lived the reality of educational struggle, and now I’m determined to be part of the solution.

If you believe, like I do, that every child deserves a fair start, I invite you to join this mission. Help us build the school. Help us feed the hungry minds. Help us unlock the dreams hidden in dusty villages and forgotten neighborhoods.

Together, let’s raise classrooms out of the dust, raise leaders out of the shadows, and raise hope where it’s been too long deferred.

I’m on a mission — will you join me?

Planting Seeds. Building Legacies. Transforming a Continent.

At Royal Merit Montessori (RMM), we are more than a school — we are a mission. A mission to reshape the future of Africa by raising a generation of leaders, innovators, and nation-builders who are not just educated, but empowered to take ownership of the continent’s vast potential.

Our Sponsor a Child Program invites you to be part of this transformative journey. Every child you support today becomes a future mind equipped to discover, manage, and take responsibility for the rich resources and opportunities within Africa. It starts with just one — but that one can influence a family, a community, a nation, and ultimately, the world.

Though your sponsorship is a freewill act of compassion, we believe in recognizing and honoring every hand that helps us build this bridge to the future.

Ways We Honor Our Sponsors:

  • 🏅 Golden-Level Sponsors
Recognized through the naming of school blocks, dormitories, or halls — your name will stand as a permanent legacy for generations of learners who walk those halls with purpose.

  • 🥉 Bronze-Level Sponsors
Honored through the naming of classroom sections, houses, or labs — a symbol of how even a single act of kindness can spark excellence.

  • ✍️ All Sponsors
Every sponsor, regardless of level, will have their name and autograph inscribed on our Memorial Wall, located across RMM campuses — a public tribute to your belief in Africa’s future.

“Africa is not poor — it is underdeveloped in mindset. Education is the light that exposes hidden treasures.”

By sponsoring a child, you are not just educating — you are liberating minds, igniting discovery, and laying claim to the destiny of a continent.

“And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones… truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.” – Matthew 10:42

Thank you for believing. Thank you for building. Thank you for being the bridge.

Nana Boahemaa, Nkosuor Hemaa of Asante Akim Morso, Donates to RMM Children

We are honored to announce that Nana Boahemaa, the Nkosuor Hemaa of Asante Akim Morso, generously donated sneakers and shoes to the children of Royal Merit Montessori (RMM). Her kind gesture brought smiles and encouragement to our young learners, reminding them that they are seen, valued, and supported by leaders who believe in their future.

We are deeply grateful for her heart of service and commitment to uplifting the next generation.

Our Proposed Building Project: A Home for Future Leaders

At Royal Merit Montessori (RMM), we are laying the foundation for a future that empowers Africa’s children through world-class education. Our proposed building project envisions a modern, purpose-driven campus equipped with smart classrooms, tech labs, innovation centers, and safe learning spaces that reflect our commitment to excellence and growth.

This development will serve as a permanent home for our students — a place where dreams are nurtured, talents are discovered, and future leaders are prepared to transform communities, nations, and the continent.

We invite you to stand with us as we build not just structures, but legacies of impact, learning, and hope.
